Ridgedale Library Project
Our three-artist team’s intentions were to create a very inviting and comfortable space for the patrons of the Ridgdale library to interact.
Our three-artist team’s intentions were to create a very inviting and comfortable space for the patrons of the Ridgdale library to interact. This is a waiting area, meeting area, and community area – we would like it to also be a place library patron go to read, relax and participate with the artwork around them.
Our concept, bands of color on the floor connect with the bands of color on Sheryl Tuorila‘s designed benches, inviting further exploration. Both of these designs echo the colors, lines, and paths of fibers wrapping Randy Walker’s aerial sculpture hanging above the center bench.
