Avocado Herringbone
This kitchen is done in our Avocado 3″ x 8″ tiles in a Herringbone Pattern, bringing light and fun to the space while still keeping it sophisticated.
Herringbone is a classic design dating back to the Roman period through the Middle Ages. The eye is drawn to the wide part of the “V” in the herringbone, and the pattern conjures an optical illusion that feels like a larger area. This kitchen is done in our Avocado 3″ x 8″ tiles, bringing light and fun to the space while still keeping it sophisticated.
I had originally looked at Motawi art tiles for our kitchen backsplash, but they are way out of our price range. These tiles were just as beautiful and far more affordable.

We used Clay Squared tiles for a kitchen back splash in our 1935 craftsman style bungalow. The tiles were made to order and arrived faster than I anticipated.
