Classic Flat Edge Subway and Hexagon Tile
Historically Accurate Wall and Floor Tiles of the 1890s-1930s
The Flat Edge Collection of subway tile and unglazed porcelain floor tile are reproduction architectural tile matches of tiles made from the 1890s-1930s. These vintage wall tiles are 3/8″ thick with a flat surface and square edges. They are traditional subway and square wall tile, moldings, and accessories just like they were made back in the day. Your installation will look original to the Victorian and Bungalow period homes.
The unglazed porcelain mosaic floor tiles that come mesh mounted. The floor tiles are 4mm and 5mm thick with the color going all the way through the porcelain tile. Choose from the 20 tile colors true to these architectural periods. They are Anti-slip when wet, they do not get slippery and are great for bathrooms, entry ways, and kitchens. Great examples of this type of tile are in the book Bungalow Bathrooms by author Jane Powell and photographer Linda Svendsen.

I looked all over for tiles to match my picture tiles. Clay Squared matched my needs perfectly and stepped up when I needed a few additional one. Love the tiles and the company is great to work with.

Ordering tile is easy, pricing is clear, and Josh bought back the extra tiles we didn’t use. The cost is more than you would pay in a big box chain store but I feel it was very much worth it.
