Marshmallow Bathroom
White Subway and Herringbone bathroom
Subway tiles were all the rage in the turn of the 20th Century and then, to our delight, came back in the turn of the 21st Century. Our classic white 2″ x 8″ in Marshmallow is the perfect addition to this bathroom. The floor is 1″ x 2″ in the herringbone pattern and is in the color Marshmallow. The hallway’s floor in made up of our Gingersnap color so a transitional section was made between the two rooms. The architect was Paul Ormseth and the photographer was Rolf Hagberg.

I am a kitchen and bath designer, and love working with the handmade tile from Clay Squared. The possibilities are endless, and the beauty of the variations in the gorgeous glazes make every project look like a work of art when it is completed.

The tile job for my basement bathroom was not one that falls within the norm these days, as I wanted to replicate a 1930s look. I am thrilled with the results and feel that the shading in the Kiwi Green tiles looks historically accurate.
