Rogacki Kitchen
This Cosmic Vine Kitchen project is fast becoming one of the most commissioned backsplash designs.
Each Cosmic Vine backsplash has extra touches of design to fit each kitchen. This project was commissioned by Josh's own parents. It is nice to have parents that support their children's career.
Colors chosen
Icing white 4" x 4" field tile
Silver branches
Matador Red Cherries
Icing White Switch Plates
Salita Project
This custom Cosmic Spot kitchen is a great example of how contemporary handmade tile can be playful and sophisticated at the same time. Josh was able to make a special die to cut out the centers of the 4" x 4" tile to set in a 2" x 2" cosmic spot in the center of the tiles. Field tile color used in this project Brulee.
Over 12 cosmic spot designs were chosen in a variety of 2" and 4" tiles.
The Thene Project
This backsplash was is one of three projects Clay Squared did for their house. The couple had seen the cosmic cloud work Josh had done at Gallery 360 and wanted to incorporate a design into their kitchen. They drew a light sketch of what they were thinking, picked out colors and Josh glazed and numbered all the tiles for the installation.
The Blees Project
Mr. Blees an architect by trade grew up in the home and purchased the house from his family over 20 years ago. He and his wife have added on and updated the home with a contemporary handmade tiles and cabinetry made by Mr. Blees himself. They chose the Neptune Pools design but asked for a little artistic
license
on Josh's part to make the piece have some directional feel to it. Made with 4" x 4" tiles The whole piece becomes a great abstract piece of artwork behind the stove.
The Ball's Project
Clay Squared leaf tiles have been a favorite of many people. The Ball's wanted to incorporate the leaves as though they were floating down though the kitchen. Using many different size and random placement help achieve their vision.
The Elna Project
This was Clay Squared's first real mosaic kitchen. The client brought in a photograph of a "Klimt" styled mosaic but wanted more shapes and colors. Over 20 colors where chosen triangles, brick shapes and squares from 1" x 1" to 3 x 3" were used to complete the design. The client laid out the complete design on a cardboard template and a tile setter set the mosaics.
The Lewis Project
Matador Red is our most popular color and this client took it to the max with red switch plates and red kitchen accessories. Even with one color the natural variations of the tile show through giving the space a more comfortable feel. This kitchen was featured in the Minneapolis home tour.
The McDill's Kitchen
Commissioned by Layl McDill's family this is one of three projects done for their newly constructed house. This stunning backplash made up of three different colors all in 2" x 2" tiles is a elegant use of natural colors giving the eyes a new experience every time you cook.

The Braun mosaic is a collaboration of three artists. Clay Squared made the mosaic tiles. They also selected SoMi Tileworks some accent vegetable tiles. The Brauns artist themselves designed and did the tile setting for this awesome retro backsplash.
They came to the shop and picked out most of their tiles from the mosaic bin and special ordered the triangles.
