Sunday, July 22, 2pm: Cha Dao (茶道) - Tea as a pathway to foster harmony, promote tranquility, and discipline the mind

The simple act of preparing a cup of tea can reveal "greatness in the smallest incidents of everyday life.”
In this class we will focus on tea ceremony as a means to foster harmony, promote a sense of peace, and
discipline the mind. Using Chinese and Japanese tea traditions as starting points we will examine the
aesthetics and philosophy of Cha Dao and it’s application in modern life.
